What is a NWFA Certified Wood Flooring Inspector?

A  NWFA Wood flooring inspector has completed required courses and passed a comprehensive test on all aspects of the wood flooring industry.  An inspector is trained to evaluate a floor according to National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) standards and remain objective.  The opinion rendered is based on on-site measurements using scientific instruments, interviews with the parties involved, visual observations, and knowledge of the wood flooring industry.

Along with the coursework and testing,  there is a strict code of ethics that each inspector must adhere to  ensure the inspection is objective.
